Agricultural and Horticultural Engineers.

Based in Barnstaple, we offer customer service and support throughout Devon. Established in 2001 by Richard and Sonia Tanton, our family-run business specializes in agricultural engineering. Originally trading in second-hand tractors and machinery, we expanded to include agricultural and horticultural dealerships, necessitating a move to our current Mill Road location in Barnstaple. Luke Tanton, Robert Ridge, and Sandra Reed have since joined our team, contributing expertise in engineering, sales, and administration.

Agricultural Machinery

We stock and sell many new and used top quality Agricultural Tractors and Machines from a wide range of manufactures. If you have any questions, require further information or cant find what your looking for on our website please give us a call and a member of staff will be happy to assist you.

Garden Machinery

At Blakewell Services Ltd we specialie in all types of garden machinery and are the largest stockest of machines in Barnstaple. So, whether you are looking for a chainsaw, lawn mower, strimmer, ride on or something more specialised we are here to help.

Servicing

With a fleet of service vans operating from Barnstaple we can offer service and repair onsite at your convenience. Fully equipped workshops with highly trained and experienced agricultural & horticultural engineers are available for larger work or work requiring more specialised equipment.

Shop & SPares

We stock a large range of Agricultural and Horticultural spares and accessories inculding Deutz, Vicon and Keenan, Stiga, Mountfield and Countax parts, along with a large range of other spares for many other machines. Most items can be dispatched by post or courier overnight or for when needed.

The service at Blakewell is standing the test of change. Showroom layout shows great choice of equipment and workshop is as busy as ever on repairs and servicing. All good so far, very pleased with my Stihl pruner,(GSA 26) makes light work of tidying trees and shrubs.
